Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. We do not retain a copy of that query on our own servers. A message sent to us contains only what the sender chooses to provide and is used to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems may record routine technical logs, including an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Aggregate use helps diagnose faults and show which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Limited visitor data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Government portals, Orange County and California offices, library collections, and outside search tools set their own privacy terms. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination’s policy. Sponsored search results are also provided by an outside company.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may give California residents rights to know, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information held by covered businesses. Because we retain little, a request will usually be limited to available contact messages or server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Government records held by Placentia, Orange County, or California agencies remain under the control of their custodians, so any correction or access restriction must be directed to the office that keeps the record.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
